Founded in 2017 by Erin DiCarlo, Dovetail Companies was inspired by her deep connection with her grandparents, Nanny and Da, whose wisdom, resilience, and values shaped her passion for helping older adults and families navigate life’s transitions with dignity, compassion, and confidence.

Inspired by the biblical symbolism of Noah’s dove—a messenger of hope, guidance, and new beginnings—Dovetail was created to provide something many families desperately need during times of change: one trusted partner to bring calm, clarity, and connection through every step of the journey.

Today, Dovetail Companies is a nationally recognized aging life transition company offering comprehensive planning and options counseling, rightsizing and move coordination, real estate and home sale services, estate clearing, and access to a trusted network of financial, legal, care, and aging professionals.
